Katta, Orgel
Katta invites listeners on a musical journey by way of Pärt and Glass also taking in her own compositions: works both sacred and profane, ethereal and unrestrained, charged with a cleansing spiritual force. In the words of the UK's Gramophone magazine, 'Katta moans, whispers, roars, caresses, and provides an unearthly accompaniment to some vivid organ colour.'

Katta cycle Vox Organi
Katta presents an entire recital of her own work: a hypnotic, meditative soundscape fashioned from her unique registrations, featuring compositions like the old Slavic prayer Bogorodice Djevo and the evocative Agnece Bozij, and peaking with Veni Sancte Spiritus, a major work built on variations of Gregorian chants. Katta's music seems to come from a secret place, at once earthy and sacred, emerging from the timeless sounds of her instrument.
Please note: all sounds and effects are achieved by manipulating the classical chamber mechanisms of the organ and are not digitally enhanced in any way. The performance is entirely organic. (project Vox Organi was in 2018 awarded by Classic Prague Awards)
